The Association of Test Publishers (ATP) will hold their 12th annual conference “Innovations in Testing 2011” February 27 – March 2 at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ. The ATP annual conference brings industry professionals together for learning and networking in an environment dedicated to promoting and advancing the integrity of assessment services and products
Gunnit Khurana, president of Cyzap, Inc., will be co-presenting two sessions at the conference, including Going Green with E-Certificate/Diploma Documents, along with Elisa Kahn of the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), and Real-time Multi-Vendor Integration for Exam Management-Visual Benefits and Hidden Challenges with Kahn and John Brechtel of Prometric.
With Khurana’s expertise and leadership, Cyzap has developed an innovative method of automatically generating digitally-signed, mail merge PDF documents. This technology has provided clients, such as GBCI, a system that allows credential holders to get unalterable copies of certificates in real time, and eliminate the cost and wait time of traditional certificates and diplomas. For a client whose business revolves around green practices, the use of e-certificates in the credentialing industry has provided an added, green benefit. Going Green with E-Certificate/Diploma Documents will explore the advantages, cost savings, and overcoming obstacles of utilizing this new technology.
In the Real-time Multi-Vendor Integration for Exam Management session, Khurana, Kahn and Brechtel will explore the dynamics and challenges of partnering with multiple vendors to create an exam management program. In this partnership, Cyzap provides the platform for candidate applications and credential maintenance, while Prometric provides test development and delivery, for GBCI. The presentation will cover the inherent challenges and questions like: How to develop the IT architecture, how to interface and integrate different systems, how to manage security and how to manage the project. All parties and systems must work seamlessly together to provide an enhanced customer experience for the candidate as they progress to credential holder and then to credential maintenance.
